Our Fees

When it comes to translation fees, they can vary considerably, depending on several affecting factors, including but not limited to a language pair, complexity of text, volume of text, urgency of a project, a language variant, and a post-translation support.

Translation fees are generally charged, subject to number of words or characters counted against either the source or target text. For example, when an English to Khmer and vice versa translation project is thought of, 300 English words or 1,500 Khmer characters is assumed and counted as 1 page costing $12 in translation fee, and for translation fees of other languages are also calculated in a similar way; nevertheless, 300 words does not always, necessarily means assumed and counted 1 page; 350 Chinese or Japanese words, for an instance, is assumed and counted as 1 page instead even though 1500 Khmer characters is always assumed and counted as 1 page for all language pairs.

To see how much exactly translation fees are charged for their actual projects, customers are strongly encouraged to share their translation materials or meeting agendas with us so that we could review, evaluate, and issue a relevant quote with an exact cost to them.

Nevertheless, this is not always the case, translation fees are sometimes up to price calculation conducted per word, mostly against the source text for translation services, or per an hour for interpretation services: 
-  Per Word:
1.  Price range of $ 0.04 to $ 0.25 for general text.
2.  Price range of $ 0.10 to $ 0.35 for technical or legal or medical text.
-  Per Hour: Translation fees typically range from $ 25 to $ 45 per hour for interpretation services.
In a sharp contrast to the abovementioned pricing methods, the following fixed translation fees are expressly stated yet apply to form and administrative documents, which need to be translated from Khmer into English language only, and they have nothing to do with and take no word or character count into account to determine price charges, but they are indeed preset for your review and consideration:

Translation fees for express service and super express service: Fees for express and super express translation services typically range from an additional 30% to 50% of the original translation costs.
